Edenred acquires Corporate Spending Innovations

Edenred, the world leader in transactional solutions for businesses, employees and merchants, has just signed an agreement to acquire Corporate Spending Innovations (“CSI”), one of the leading providers of automated corporate payment software in North America. By acquiring this solid and sustainable fintech, Edenred is now well positioned to respond to the multiple opportunities available in the North American corporate payments market.
This acquisition, worth around 600 million dollars, follows on from the European partnership established almost two years ago between the two companies. In line with the Fast Forward strategic plan, the transaction will enable Edenred to gain an advantageous position with regard to its growth in the corporate payments segment, optimizing its technological platform dedicated to digital payments and significantly increasing its presence in North America.
