Edenred mobilizes employees and supports local communities
4 de June, 2019
The initiative is called Idealday and allows employees to carry out solidarity actions during working hours.
For Edenred’s 8,500 employees in 46 countries, June 19 is the ideal day, or Idealday, to support local communities. The initiative, created by the group in 2017, allows professionals to carry out solidarity actions during working hours, in line with the group’s three sustainable development initiatives: Idealpeople, which aims to improve quality of life, Idealplanet, dedicated to preserving the environment, and Idealprogress, designed to create responsible value.
In this context, Edenred is now launching a worldwide partnership with Le Projet Imagine, a non-governmental organization created by journalist and radio and television presenter Frédérique Bedos in 2010. In addition to financial support, the partnership will take various forms. On the 19th, to commemorate Idealday, Frédérique Bedos will meet with the group’s Brazilian team to discuss the theme of solidarity and will then take part in various Edenred events to make employees aware of the concept of engagement. The two entities will also organize the “Edenred Hero” internal competition.
