Portuguese spend an average of €373 per month on food

A study by Edenred Portugal reveals that nine out of ten Portuguese workers receive a food allowance, but that the average monthly amount is 127 euros, a third of what is needed. The general reduction in food costs compared to inflation and the greater control of spending by those who have a meal card/voucher are other conclusions of the analysis.
