Filipa Martins, CEO of Edenred Portugal, is the cover story of the 24th edition of PME Magazine. In her interview with PME Magazine, Filipa Martins opened up about the importance of social benefits for companies and employees, pointing out that investing in these benefits not only translates into monetary savings, but also into a way of valuing and motivating teams.

“The tax benefit is what companies value most, although it’s not the only incentive there is. There’s a whole team motivation component, even employee branding, which we shouldn’t overlook. But from a tax point of view, and talking a little more about SMEs here, a company with ten employees can save around 1600 euros a year on meal allowances, and each employee in this company will have a tax benefit of around 200 euros,” she said.
