Food Program

A question of balance.

The FOOD Program (Fighting Obesity through Offer and Demand) aims to improve the nutritional quality of food offered in restaurants and facilitate consumer choice through better information and greater awareness.

The Program was launched by the Edenred Group with the support of the European Union in 2009. In 2011, Edenred Portugal joined the Program, establishing a partnership with Direção-Geral de Saúde.

It has two main objectives:

Helping workers to make the best nutritional choices during their day-to-day work;

Improving the nutritional quality of meals by promoting good practices in restaurants.

Visit the official website and see how FOOD Program has contributed to the promotion of these objectives since its creation until today.
