Edenred Estudante is a social voucher granted by the company to its employees to support them with education or training expenses. It can be used for training expenses for employees themselves or for education costs for children or dependents aged 7 and over.

Edenred Estudante is granted in the form of a 100% digital card.

This solution offers tax savings to the employee, who is exempt from paying TSU on the amount allocated through Edenred Estudante.

There is no limit to the amount of Edenred Estudante, and it is up to the company to decide the amounts to attribute to each employee.

The company allocates the benefit to eligible employees. Afterwards, the employee receives an email confirming receipt of the benefit with instructions on the next steps to proceed with its use.

You can use it in a network of more than 2,800 establishments covering schools, colleges, universities and similar. Discover all the merchants in the network, which is constantly being updated, here.

The wallet’s balance and movements can only be consulted on the MyEdenred App, available for Android, iOS and Huawei, or on MyEdenred.pt. Simply register and add your wallet to the App.

As it is a voucher that offers tax benefits, Edenred Estudante can only be used in Portugal, in the Edenred merchants network (establishments with an agreement with Edenred).

Yes, you can use the available balance in several payments.

Payments are made through the MyEdenred App (available for Android, iOS and Huawei, or at MyEdenred.pt). Simply add the benefit to the App, choose the establishment where you want to make the payment, enter the student number and enter the amount to be paid. Upon confirmation, the payment is automatically validated in the App.

Yes, just like any other invoice.

No. Edenred Estudante can be used by the employee to whom it was assigned, for their own use, as well as for their dependents.

The wallet has two layers of security: when the benefit is added to the MyEdenred App and when the payment is validated to the establishment (via SMS token).

The digital wallet is valid for 24 months.

You must report it to your company’s Human Resources department, which will analyze the possibility of resolving the issue with Edenred.

Even if you are no longer an employee of the company that awarded you the Edenred Estudante, you can still use it until it expires.
