Edenred Refeição is a social voucher given by the company to its employees to pay their meal allowance. It is more advantageous than receiving it in cash, because the value of the allowance, exempt from IRS and TSU, is 70% higher (for companies and employees). It is a prepaid card, which can be recharged with the amount of the allowance stipulated by the company, and can be used to buy meals or food at Edenred merchants network in Portugal.

Edenred Refeição offers tax savings to the company and its employees, who are exempt from IRS and TSU up to the amount defined by law (70% more than when paying in cash). For greater purchasing power, users also have access to the Edenred Discounts and Advantages Program, which offers them exclusive discounts in essential areas.

Edenred Refeição can be used in all establishments in the food sector that have a commercial agreement with Edenred. Between restaurants, pastry shops, bakeries, supermarkets, butchers and many others, the Edenred Refeição network has more than 38,000 member establishments and is constantly growing. As it is a social voucher with associated tax advantages, Edenred Refeição can only be used in Portugal, in the Edenred merchants network (establishments with an agreement with Edenred).

The balance of the Edenred Refeição card can be consulted on the MyEdenred App, available for Android, iOS and Huawei, or at MyEdenred.pt. All they have to do is register.

Immediately block the card via the MyEdenred App or at MyEdenred.pt, so that you can try to locate it without the risk of it being used by third parties. Then:
– If you can’t find the card, ask for it to be replaced by calling our User Support Line – 707 500 360. A new card will be sent to you with the balance available at the time of blocking.
– If you find the card, you can unblock it in the MyEdenred App or at MyEdenred.pt and use it again as normal.

The Edenred Refeição card is protected by a PIN code, which is sent separately from the card in order to guarantee the security of the process. In the event of loss or misplacement, the user can block the card via the MyEdenred App or at MyEdenred.pt.

Each card is valid for 3 years. The expiration date is stated on the front of the Edenred Refeição card.

There is a fee for renewing the card, which corresponds to the issuing and dispatching of the card. This fee is charged to the company.

If the employee leaves the company, the balance remains on the card. It must be spent within 60 days.
