Euroticket Refeição card is more eco-friendly
28 de September, 2022
When you think of a meal card, its environmental impact may not be the first thing that comes to mind.
But if we think of all the cards we have in our wallets and multiply that by the world’s population, our perception of their impact on the planet could increase.
Aware of this, and of the importance of adopting more sustainable materials, Edenred has just launched a new, more environmentally friendly Euroticket Refeição card!
New, greener Euroticket Refeição
The new Euroticket Edenred meal card is made of degradable PVC and is composed of 57% sea salt. Since this allows for faster degradation in a natural environment, the environmental impact of this card is reduced.

Edenred’s commitment to preserving the environment
Since its inception, the Edenred Group has been strongly committed to preserving the environment.
To this end, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint, the resources consumed and waste, as well as seeking to make our solutions and services more environmentally friendly, as is the case with the new Euroticket Refeição.
In addition to being more environmentally friendly, the new Euroticket Refeição is adapted for the visually impaired
The Euroticket Refeição will now have a round notch on the right-hand side, allowing blind people to know the correct position of the card whenever they make a payment.
Because along with sustainability, inclusion is also a central theme for Edenred.
As of July 2023, the Euroticket Refeição benefit was renamed Edenred Refeição.
