According to European Central Bank data for 2020, Portugal was at the bottom of the ranking of eurozone countries in terms of the general public’s financial literacy.

Mastering, even in a basic way, some good practices and concepts related to personal finance management, savings and investment is crucial to making more conscious decisions about your money and assets.

Contas-Poupança started out as a program on SIC’s Jornal da Noite and later became a podcast. Journalist Pedro Andersson discusses various topics related to paying taxes, insurance, credit, electricity and telecommunications costs and much more. It can be very useful to get some tips on how to save or invest.

Money Bar is a podcast developed by Bárbara Barroso, a specialist in personal finance and financial consultancy who was considered the number one financial expert in Portugal in 2019 by Canal História. According to her, this podcast aims to talk about money-related topics in a relaxed and uncomplicated way.

Led by Luís Lobo Jordão, a financial analyst and investment professional, it develops topics such as inflation, paying taxes, giving tips on the best investments and much more.
